"As Canada’s First Digital Hospital, the adoption of the Get Ready Emergency Management Program and cloud-based platform is a natural step of our digital journey. Gone are the binders and outdated policies. Staff no longer need to panic when a Code is called to understand what to do and their role; all that information is available at their fingertips on their phone and desktop. They find the platform very quick and easy to use. The platform also allows the Emergency Operations Centre to track the progress of any activated Code and receive data from responders to better understand what is happening across the organization in real time. These two features, empowering our staff via their phones and central data collection, are making our sites, our staff, and our patients safer."
