Purpose
To affirm Get Ready’s commitment to respectful engagement, equitable access, and meaningful
inclusion of Indigenous peoples in our educational and leadership development programming.
Policy Statement
Get Ready recognizes the historical and ongoing contributions of Indigenous communities across
Canada. We acknowledge the importance of reconciliation and are committed to fostering
inclusive access to education, leadership development, and structured advancement pathways for
Indigenous learners and partners.
Application
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, facilitators, consultants, and representatives of
Get Ready.
Commitments
- Access and Inclusion
Get Ready will promote equitable access to its programs for Indigenous participants and
communities. - Respectful Engagement
All engagement with Indigenous learners, organizations, or partners will be conducted
with cultural respect and an openness to learning. - Continuous Learning
Leadership and team members will seek to remain informed regarding reconciliation
principles and culturally responsive practices. - Partnership Approach
Where appropriate, Get Ready will pursue collaborative relationships that support long-
term advancement and leadership development outcomes.
Accountability
This policy will be reviewed annually to ensure alignment with evolving best practices and
community engagement standards.
